Nick Codemo of St. James,  passed away on March 16, 2016 at his home.  Nick Codemo was 95 years, 10 months and 24 days of age.

Nick Codemo was born on April 21, 1920 in Knobview, Mo. to his parents John and Mary Burnetti Codemo.  Nick was married to Opal Beatrice Adam on March 3, 1948 in Rolla, Mo.

Nick Codemo was a farmer all his life.  He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Nick Codemo is survived by three daughters: Betty Hartmann and husband Ron of Mulberry Grove, Illinois; Barbara Hamilton of St. James, Mo.; and Opal Ann Williams and husband Terry of St. James, Mo.; grandchildren: Vicki, Sherri, Kevin, Jeremy, Robin, Matthew, and Michael, along with 18 great-grandchildren.

Nick Codemo is preceded in death by his wife: Opal Codemo on September 8, 2012; parents: John and Mary Burnetti Codemo; son-in-law: Mike Hamilton; and an infant brother.

Visitation for Nick Codemo will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 5 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, with John Kinkead officiating.  Pallbearers will be: Louis Gorman, Scott Adams, Brian Adams. Ruddy Gorman, Jim Ambrose, Tony Flaim and honorary pallbearers will be: Dawson Enloe, Joey Williams, Riley Williams, Holden Enloe, Braden Hartmann, Weston Davis, Connor Hartmann, Wyatt Davis, Wade Davis, and Colton Hamilton. Burial will be in the family plot in the St. James Cemetery in St. James.

Memorials may be made to the Phelps County Hospice.  Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
