Mitchell Jerry Deese of Houston, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri. He was 65 years of age.

Mitchell, the son of Herbert Buel and Doris Arlene (Faylor) Deese, was born August 18, 1959 in San Bernardino, California. He was united in marriage to Alice Marie Deese on June 10, 1976 in Butler, Missouri.

Mitchell is survived by two sons, Clayton Deese (Jennifer) of Salem, Missouri and Brandon Shea Deese (Tiffany) of Stockton, California; two brothers, Benton Rosier of Springfield, Missouri and Russell Rosier of Virginia; sister, Kari Rosier of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren: Julia Johnson, Mitchell Deese, and Payton Deese; and great-grandchildren, Joanne Johnson and Samuel Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice who passed away July 16, 2018; brother, Mike Deese; and great-grandson, Truman Deese.

Mitchell was an over the road truckdriver for 40 years; he loved the open road. He enjoyed taking long rides on his motorcycle.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 with Bro. Craig Rippy officiating. His ashes will be scattered over the ocean.
