MICHAEL P. TONELIS - Michael P. Tonelis, age 56, a resident 111 Bent Creek Lane, Nebo, NC, formerly of Kings Mountain, died July 22, 2015 at Mission Hospital in Asheville. He was born in Allentown, PA., son of the late Edward J. Tonelis. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Michele K. Tonelis. He was a 1977 graduate of Parkland High School, Whitehall, PA.,and 1983 graduate of Penn State. He received his Masters Degree from University of Missouri, Rolla, MO. He was an employee of Unimin in Spruce Pine, NC where he worked in mineral process research, and was former Plant Manager for 14 years for Kings Mountain Mining. Michael was an avid golfer, enjoyed sports, hiking and Nascar. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son who was always willing to help anyone.

Grandchildren; Jayden Byers and Kennedy Byers Mother-in law; Mildred Gahr and husband Jess, St, James, MO. Brother-in-law; Bruce and Marcie Wilson and family, St. James, MO. Nephews; Brandt and Brian Wilson, St. James, MO. Step-mother-in-law; Margaret Wilson, St. James, MO.
