Michael Surratt was a retired welder.

Michael Surratt is survived by his wife Nicole Surratt of St. James, Mo.; three sons: Troy Surratt of New York City, New York; Jesse Surratt; and Kit Smith and wife Elizabeth of Fenton, Mo.; one daughter: Tress Smith and husband Cameron of Reno, Nevada; two sisters: Mary Jane Schoen and husband Kenny and Murlana Kern and husband Bob along with 5 grandchildren: Marissa, Brenna, Dayton, Felix, and Lydia.

Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery in Washington, Kansas.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
