Obituary

Mary Irene Zimmerle of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the NHC Health Care in St. Charles, Missouri. Mary was 81 years and 25 days of age.

Mary Zimmerle was born on July 5, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to her parents: Cecil Wellington and Martha Blanche (Davis) Newton.

Irene, fondly known to many as 'Rene' was the eldest daughter of Cecil and Blanche (Davis) Newton.

Mary Zimmerle is survived by three sons; Art Willhige and wife Beverly of Picayune, Mississippi; Darren Zimmerle and wife Mary Ann; and Terrence McKellar and wife Julie; both of St. Charles County, Missouri; two daughters; Cheryl Egan of Palentine, Texas and Marti Scheller of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother: Charles Newton and wife Iola of Florissant, Missouri, three sisters: Louise Holdman and husband Emmett of Affton, Missouri; Bonnie Albers and husband: Roger of Golden, Illinois; and Wanda Moreland and husband Wally of Springfield, Illinois; and ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Mary Zimmerle in death are her parents: Cecil Wellington and Blanche (Davis) Newton, step-mother: pearl Irene (Tipton) Newton, one brother Orel Horace "Bud" (Marvel) Newton and one sister, Martha Lorene (John ) Paneitz.

All of those wishing to join Irene's family in a memorial service celebrating her life are invited to the High GAte Baptist Church on August 28, 2010 at 11:00 am.

All arrangements were under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Services
Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery in rural St. James, Missouri. Family and friends were pallbearers. Burial was in the family plot in the High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery in rural St. James, Mo.
