Mary Lou Martin went to be with Our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Rolla Rehab Nursing Home in Rolla, MO. She was 72 years of age.

Mary Lou, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Hatcher Happle, was born December 12, 1941 in Rolla, MO.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Rita Persicke and husband, Bill of St. James; her two sons: Dale Southard and wife, Julie of Rolla, and Frank Southard and wife, Nancy of St. James; her sisters: Pauline Adams of Joplin, Lola Bartle and husband, Jack of St. James, and Norma Russow of Carthage; her brothers: Ken Happle and Louis Happle and10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Martin, her father Frank Happle, her mother Mary Happle, her sisters: Cathy Gushwa, Pearl Norris, and Earma Thurmand, and her brother, Charles Happle.

Mary was a loving wife and mother. She loved her grandchildren and great grand children dearly. She enjoyed gardening.

Services
Visitation for Mary Lou Martin will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 29 at Flag Springs Church in St. James, MO.

Her funeral will follow the visitation at 12 Noon Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Flag Springs Church in St. James, MO with Pastor Allen Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be: James Persicke, Zack Southard, Kaleb Southard, Casey Grisham, Scott Bartle, Marvin Bartle, Noah Bartle, andTracy Norris. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Persicke, Jacob Persicke, and Cody Jackson. Burial will be in the Asher Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.
