Mary Ruth Grover of St. James, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo. Mary Grover was 88 years and 19 days of age.

Mary Grover was born on April 29, 1923 in White Hall, Illinois to her parents: Paul T. and Lottie (Wallner) Bell. Mary Bell was united in marriage to Clarence Raymond Grover.


Mary Grover was employed by Growmark Incorporation in Bloomington, Ill. for many years,
and retired in 1979. Mary was a member of #50 DAV Auxillary in McLean County, Ill.; a member of Tri-County Humane Society in St. James, Mo.; and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in St. James, Mo.

Mary Grover is survived by her loved ones left behind: Pam Ritchie and husband Michael and their son Garrett Ritchie of Pantego, Tx.; Jean Gordon and husband Melvin and their son: Eric Gordon of Bloomington, Ill.; brother and sisters-in-law: Howard and Geneva Sevier of Alton, Ill.; Jim and Millie Carroll of Pittsfield, Ill.; Velma Graham of Hamburg, Ill.; and Ann Grover of Rolla, Mo.

Preceding Mary Grover in death are her parents: Paul T. and Lottie (Wallner) Bell; her husband Clarence Raymond Grover in 1990; and one sister: June Wyatt.

Services
Visitation will begin 8:00 A.M., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Jones Fuenral Home Chapel in St. James, Mo. with Mick Thrasher officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on May 21, 2011 at the White Hall Cemetery in Carrollton, Illinois with burial in the family plot. Pallbearers will be Harold Kaufman; Michael Ritchie, Garrett Ritchie, Tony Parker, Jim Hawkins, and Terrill Story. Music will be provided by Stephanie Rogers, vocalist and Doyle Hobson, organist.

Memorials may be given to White Hall Cemetery or First Assembly of God Church in St. James, Mo.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
