Marvin Russell Bookout of Rolla, Missouri passed away May 31, 2024 at his home. He was 92 years of age.

He was born December 19, 1931 at Webb City, Oklahoma; he was one of five sons, of the late Merele and Bertie Bingham Bookout.

He was the beloved husband of Loraine Anne (Shelton) Bookout of St. James, Missouri and

father of four sons, Barry, Russell, Daniel, and Mark.

He was a veteran of the Korean war.

He retired from the US Geological Survey.

Marvin was preceded in death by the love of his life, Loraine, and one son, Daniel, parents, and brothers, Don and John.

Memorial Services with full military honors will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 6th at the Macedonia Baptist Church.
