Martha Jane Stroud of St. James passed away Thursday February 24, 2011 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo. She was 60 years 5 months and 5 days of age.

Martha Stroud was born September 19, 1950 in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of the late George and Charlotte Goetteman Faulkner.

She is survived by her husband Johnny Martin Stroud of St. James; one son Johnny A. Stroud and wife Charlyn of St. James. Daughters: Anna Walls and husband Kevin of St. James; Kerry Barthacyre of St. James and Amy Wyatt and husband Patrick of St. James. Brother Allen Faulkner and wife Donna of Pennsylvania; Sisters: Barba Ellis and husband Roger of St. James; Peggy Reed of Sullivan, Mo., Linda Wethy of St. James and Sandra Johnson and husband Randy of St. James. Along with 10 grandchildren.

Services
Martha Stoud will lie in state at the Jones Funeral Home on Saturday February 26, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral time at 1:00 p.m. Steve Barber will officate. Burial will be at the St. James Cemetery.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
