Martha Howard of St. James, Missouri passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Rolla Manor Care Center.  She was 80 years and 27 days.

Martha, was born December 9, 1935.  She was united in marriage to John Franklin Howard in 1964 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Rolla, MO.

She is survived by two sons:  Brian Howard of Vichy, MO and Steven Howard of Rolla, MO; two daughters:  Mary Howard of Springfield, MO and Karen Jones of Rolla, MO; two sisters:  Susan Patterson of Kodiak, Alaska and Rachel Duke of Scottsdale, Arizona; and one grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Howard.

Martha was a sweet and caring mother and friend.  She loved all kinds of crafting:  painting, sewing, quilting, and needlepoint.  She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens in Rolla, MO.  Visitation will be Friday, January 8, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.  Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
