Margret L Monken of St. James passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Cedar Point Nursing Home, Rolla, MO. She was 102 years of age.

Margret, the daughter of Robert R. and Florence Hardin Lambert, was born July 14, 1917 in Carlin, Illinois. She was united in marriage to Delmar O. Monken, and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by her son, James Monken of Steelville, MO, and daughter Rhonda Monken of St. James, MO. Along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister, Gerdine Ruyle.

A graveside will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 8, 2020 at Witte Cemetery in Rockbridge, Illinois.
