Madison Roxy James Nunnery of St. James passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021, at her home in St. James. She was 7 years of age.

Madison was born September 24, 2013, in Rolla, MO, the daughter of Michael and Traci Nunnery.

She is survived by her mother Traci Brakefield and father Michael Nunnery and his wife Justina. Two sisters: Mike' Rae Nunnery, Jordan Nunnery and Brother: Gavin Rothe.

Maternal Grandparents: Mindi Rae Brakefield, Tracy Brakefield, and wife Julie.

Paternal Grandparents Mike Nunnery and his wife Chasity, and Vicky Mash

Great Grandparents: Everett Mash, Pat Mash, Jan and Don Eckert, Bill Malcom, Vickie Malcom, and Connie Malcom.

Aunts and Uncles: Clifford Person III, Cody Malcom, Nicholas Brakefield, Bradford Nunnery, Devon Sutterfield, Emma Brakefield, and Mellisa Mash.

Along with many other relatives and loved ones.

Maddie, as she was known by her family and friends, was a beautiful happy baby. At The age of 8 months old, she was diagnosed with Leukodystrophy Ears2 disease which was terminal. Although doctors communicated reasonable expectations for her illness, with so much love and good care she exceeded her life expectancy for the last 6 years. She touched many lives during her short stay with us. She loved music, bath time, massages, loud noises, and when family and friends came to visit.  Her smile was infectious, irresistible, and could brighten the gloomiest days. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Maddie will lie in state 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2021, at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Don Carson Officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike' Rae Nunnery, Michael Nunnery, Jeremiah Sherman, and Mike Nunnery. Burial will be in the family plot at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church Cemetery in Rosati, Mo.
