Lucas John Gilbertson of St. James passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Sullivan, MO.  He was 26 years of age.

Lucas John Gilbertson was born to Bobbi Sheffield and the late Scott Allen Gilbertson on January 7, 1990 in LaCrosse, WI.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbi Sheffield of Tucson, AZ; paternal grandparents:  Bud and Joyce Gilbertson of Rushford, MN; two half brothers: Tony Gilbertson and wife, Wendy of Lena, IL and Ethan Basinger of Tuscon, AZ; two sisters:  Anessa Ohmes and husband, Larry of Dallas, TX and Jenna Andrade and husband, Erick of El Paso, TX; one niece, Sophia Andrade; and two nephews:  Owen and Cooper Gilbertson; two aunts:  Robin Sheffield Fulton and husband, Glenn of Nokesville, VA and Becky Sheffield Karnes of Kansas City, MO; and one uncle, Mitch Gilbertson and wife, Sandy of Rushord, MN.

He is preceded in death by his father, Scott Gilbertson and maternal grandparents, Gladys and Ralph Sheffield.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James; visitation will be from 5:00 PM until time of service.  Jerry Baumann will be officiating.
