Louella Rose Satterfield of St. James passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Cox Health Medical Center South in Springfield, MO. She was 77 years of age. Louella, the daughter of the late Wilson and Waltie Euna Roy Riley, was born October 6, 1945 in Jackson County, MO. She was united in marriage to Aaron Satterfield on July 31, 1988 in High Gate, MO. She is survived by her children: Mike Rogers (Tammy) of Rolla, MO; Richard Rogers (Patti) of Newburg, MO; Shane Rogers (Elizabeth Throop) of St. James; Paul Satterfield (Rita) and Diana Satterfield; brother, Lester Riley (Regina); sisters: Roberta Mahaney and Donita Rinearson; grandchildren: Michael Rogers, Amanda Gillespie (Dalton), Chris Rogers (Ali); Tyler Rogers (Ronnie); and Zach Rogers (Alesha); and Gavin Satterfield; great grandchildren: Madison, Olivia, Aria, Remi, Owen, Kenley, Ethan, Deven, Landon, and Carter; and nieces and nephews: Rick Riley, Lisa Gufffey, Courtney Lafferty, Tom Riley, Jared Riley, Georgia Emo, and Debbie Brazal. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aaron who passed away November 5, 2009; brother, Arnold Riley and brother-in-laws: Jerry Mahaney and Randy Rinearson. Louella was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her kindness radiated through her smile and through her ease of conversing with others. She was always eager to ask how things were going in your life as well as to reminisce about past events, humorous times as well as monumental times. She loved watching birds and fresh fallen snow. She especially loved taking a drive through the country after a fresh fallen snow. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, January 2, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO. Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at High Gate Baptist Church in St. James, MO with Bro. Doug Williams officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Rogers, Chris Rogers, Shane Rogers, Zach Rogers, Tyler Rogers and Rick Riley. Burial will be in the High Gate Baptist Church Cemetery.
