Obituary

Lola Jewell Johnson of St. James, Missouri passed away at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri on Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Lola was 71 years, 5 months and 7 days of age.

Lola Johnson was born on July 28, 1939 in Paris, Arkansas to her parents: Mark and Pauline (Albritton) Cranfill. Lola was united in marriage to Stanley D. Johnson in Reno, Nevada.

Our mother Lola Jewell Johnson; her name describes her very well. She was definatelyl a Jewell. She was a good christian and a wonderful mother she enjoyed a family more than anything. She loved it when we were all together at family functions with her children and grandchildren. She loved my Dad more than anything. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Wife and Friend to all that kenw her. Married June 15th, 1953.
Lola Johnson was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Lola Johnson is survived by husband: Stanley Dean Johnson of St. James, Missouri; five sons: Huey Lee Johnson and wife Kim; Stanley Ellis Johnson; James Johnson and wife Connie; William Cleveland Johnson and wife Katie all of St. James, Missouri; Robert Yowell Johnson and wife Deana of Boston, Massachusetts; and one daughter: Cynthia Pauline LeClair and husband Ron of Rolla, Missouri; along with 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and family in California. Lola will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Preceding Lola Johnson in death are her parents: Mark and Pauline (Albritton) Cranfill; two sons: Louis Dean and John Anthony Johnson; one daughter: Wilma Louise Lewis; one grandson: Rodney Lewis; one brother: Carmen Cranfill; and two sisters: Marilyn and Ima.

Services
Visitation for Lola Johnson will be on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Lynn Huggins officiating. Pallbearers will be Lee Johnson; James Johnson; Ellis Johnson; Bill Johnson; Bob Johnson; and Danny Karnes. Burial will be in the family plot in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in rural Cuba, Missouri.
