Linda Carlene Shoemate of St. James, Missouri passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Carlene Shoemate was 49 years, 8 months and 5 days of age.

Carlene Shoemate was born on August 24, 1962 in Salem, Mo. to her parents: James Carl and Grace Louise (Cooley) Shoemate.

Carlene Shoemate was a Hydrologic Technician and worked for the USGS water division. She had a degree in Drafting; graduated from John F. Hodge High School in St. James in 1982 and went to R.T.I. in Rolla in 1984. Carlene Shoemate was a loving mother; daughter; and sister. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carlene Shoemate is survived by her loving Mother: Grace Louise (Cooley) Shoemate of St. James, Mo.; Son: Mike Shoemate; Daughter: Samantha Shoemate both of St. James, Mo.; two Brothers: James Shoemate of Columbia, Mo.; and Carl Raymond Shoemate of St. James, Mo.

Preceding Carlene Shoemate in death is her Father: James Carl Shoemate.

Services
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Mo. with Ernie Coverdale officiating. Pallbearers were: Mike Shoemate; Jim Shoemate; Bill Houser; Ryan Adkins; Jim Enloe; and Jeffery Vogel. Burial was in the Asher Cemetery in rural St. James, Mo.

All arrangements were under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
