Obituary

Linda Kay Bisso of St. James, Missouri passed away suddenly at her home on Monday morning, June 17, 2024. She was 78 years of age.

Linda, the daughter of the late David and Helen Louise Pritchard Robyn, was born January 16, 1946 at Liberty, Missouri.

On January 3, 1968 she was united in marriage to William Charles Bisso, Jr.

Linda is survived by her sons, William C. Bisso III (Sarah) of California and Joshua J. Bisso of St. James, Missouri; sisters, Nancy Robin of Union, Missouri and Carol Smith (Jerry) of Washington, Missouri and  two grandchildren, William IV and Edward.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Judith Cookson.

Linda lived her life by Christ's commands in Mark 12:28-31.  She loved her Lord with all her heart, all her soul, all her mind and all her strength.  She also loved her neighbor as herself, and often greater than herself.  It was her mission in life to live out an example of what we are all called to be.  Her gift and talent from God was the role of caregiver, which she accepted and performed well all of her life.  It was not just a job for her. She truly loved all of the special people; she felt privileged to provide loving care when they were no longer able to care for themselves.  No matter what might be going on in her own life, Linda would be the first to show up in a time of need with a sympathetic ear and shoulder, loving words of encouragement, and some shape or form of nourishment and goodies.  She was a mighty prayer warrior, lifting her voice on behalf of all to request God's guidance and mercy in times of need.

Linda took great joy in being a wife, mother and grandmother.  Her love and devotion to Bill was lasting and true.  She was always so happy to share the love and pride she felt for Billy and Josh, and when Little Billy and Edward came,  they were eagerly added to her brag book.  She loved all of her family deeply and still found yet more love to share with friends and neighbors.  Her presence in all of our lives is going be dearly missed.
