Lila May Kulp a long time resident of St. James, Missouri passed away Friday, September 1st, 2017, in Birmingham Al where she has resided since 2008. She was 90 Years, 11 months and 23 days of age.

Lila was born in Buckfield, Maine September 9, 1926, the Daughter of Charles and Doris (Dawson) Gauthier.

She spent her entire life caring for and loving her family, friends,  and the countless pets that joined her home.  She loved gardening, cooking and was fearsly independent throughout her life. She spent many years of service to Phelps County as a volunteer in the Senior Companion Program.  Lila is survived by her Daughter, Carol Hayes Brown and husband Douglas Brown of Birmingham Alabama. She was predeceased by her parents; brother Harry L. Gauthier; sister Dorothy Dupont; son Terry L Kulp.

A family gathering will be held at a later date. The burial of the ashes will be in the Dillon Cemetery next her son.
