Leonard L. Bullock Sr. of St. James passed away Saturday September 22, 2007 at the Ferndale Assisted Living Center in St. James. He was 82 years 2 months and 15 days of age.

Leonard L. Bullock Sr was born April 7, 1925 in St. James, the son of the late Lewis Jackson and Dovie Reynolds Bullock.

On July 15, 1948 in Hardy Arkansas, He was united in marriage to Novella E. "Grannie" Moreland Bullock.

Leonard L. Bullock Sr. is survived by his Sons: Leonard Bullock Jr. of Rockport, Mo.; and David Bullock of St. James. Daughters: Judy VanLevven of Rockport, Mo., Linda Jo Landsdown of Rockport and Joyce Clark of St. James. Brother: Robert Bullock of Flag Springs and Betty Matcalf and Mae Kinsey both of St. James. Along with 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bullock is preceaded in death by his wife Novella E. Bullock (March 30, 1997), Brothers: Jack, "Gip" (Everett) and Ed Bullock along with one granddaughter Samantha Snyder.

Mr. Bullock worked for International Harverster in Fairfax, Mo. for 17 years. He assisted his wife for many years in the restaurant business. He and his wife had many restaurants in St. James, and Leonard made the pies. He loved fishing, camping and gardening.

Services
Leonard L. Bullock Sr. will lie in state from 6-8 pm Tuesday September 25, 2007 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted 11 am Wednesday September 26, 2007 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James. Burial will be in the family plot at the Flag Springs Cemetery. Pallbears will be grandsons. Memorial may be given to the Ferndale Assisted Living Ceneter in St. James.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
