Lavohn B. Kallsen of St. James, Mo. passed away on July 12, 2011 at Rolla, Missouri. Lavohn Kallsen was 89 years, 1 month and 29 days of age.

Lavohn Kallsen was born on May 21, 1922 in Laurens, Iowa to her parents: Raymond and Beatrice (Boys) Farlow. On January 18, 1944 Lavohn was united in marriage to Merle F. Oleson in Des Moine, Iowa on January 18, 1944 whose precedes her in death. Then on February 8, 1988, in Denver, Colorado Lavohn was united in marriage to Clyde Kallsen.

Lavohn Kallsen worked for the Defense Plant during World War II in Ankey, Iowa and also for a Neurosurgeon in Salt Lake City, Utah part-time.

Surviving Lavohn Kallsen is two daughters: Lonna Campbell of Laurens, Iowa; and Frankay Stevens of St. James, Mo.; one sister: Rose Marie Roeve of Laurens, Iowa; three granddaughters: Katherine Stevens of Omaha, Nebraska; Emily Stevens Brinker and husband Donald of Springfield, Missouri.; and Elizabeth Stevens of St. James, Missouri.

Preceding Lavohn Kallsen in death is her parents; Raymond and Beatrice (Boys) Farlow; and first husband: Merle F. Oleson; second husband: Clyde Kallsen; and three sisters: Betty Rae Farlow; Marquerite Wisecop; and Ruth Speers.

Services
Interment will be in the Laurens Cemetery in Laurens, Iowa.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
