Larry Lee LaBarge of Licking, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Life Care Center in Waynesville, Missouri. He was 72 years of age.

Larry, the son of Leonard W. LaBarge and Caroline Burnett LaBarge, was born January 9, 1952 in Rolla, Missouri.

Larry is survived by daughters, Julie Hammond (Jason) of Jefferson City, Missouri and Donna Collman of Woodriver, Illinois; son, Jerry (Theresa) Collman of Evansville, Indiana brothers-in-law, George McAntire and Frank Southard; sister, Leasa Elrod of Jefferson City, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Paige Johnston (Ryan) of Tampa, Florida; Caleb Chamberlain of Granite City, Illinois; Chelsea, Megan, and Kaitlyn Hammond of Jefferson City, Missouri; Hannah and Megan Collman of Indiana; and Susie Phinney of Illinois; and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, life long companion, Dollie LaBarge; step-daughter, Kim White; sisters,  Pam McAntire, Nancy Southard; and brother-in-law, Pete Elrod.

Larry graduated from John F. Hodge High School in St. James, Missouri. After graduating from high school, he started hanging drywall with his dad. He also built houses in the St. James and Rolla areas. He was talented in woodworking; he would explore the area creeks to find things that he could repurpose in his creations. He signed each piece that he made with "L L Two Dogs." Larry liked to stay busy; he was always busy creating something. Even in the hospital, he designed a racecar out of a Kleenex box and decorated his lift strips.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 31, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 31, 2024 with Bro. Gary Bartle officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
