Just one month and 26 days after coming into this world, Kyia Grace Lee Daniels of St. James, Mo. passed away peacefully at the Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. on September 6, 2015.   During that fleeting time, she touched many lives and was loved by all who met her.

Born nearly 16 weeks early and weighing only 15 ounces, Kyia was still able to grip her mother's finger and respond to music and touch during her brief stay on earth.  She had lots of brownish blond hair and bright blue eyes.  She was born at St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis, MO at 7:20 a.m. on July 13, 2015 to her mother Chantelle Lynne Daniels.

Kyia Grace Lee Daniels joins her great grandparents George and Marjorie Daniels and Richard and Jane Staats in heaven.  She is survived by her mother: Chantelle Lynne Daniels of St. James, Mo.; Maternal Grandparents: Bruce and Mitsy Daniels of St. James, Mo.; uncle: Chris Daniels and wife Becky; great grandparents: Leon and Mary Taylor of St. James, Mo.; great-aunts: Carol Daniels of St. James, Mo.; Malinda Arl and husband Jim of Rolla, Mo.; Melody Barker and husband Kip of St. James, MO.; MaChelle Taylor of St. James, Mo.; Rebecca McCallister of Springfield, Mo.; and Clara Berry (Mo-Mo) along with many cousins and people who loved her.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Immediately following the visitation, services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Eddie Jones and Mike Stephens officiating.  Burial will be at the St. James Cemetery in St. James, MO.

Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. or to the Ronald McDonald House.  Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
