With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Beloved Son Kayne Tupua Faletogo of St. James, Missouri on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was the tender age of 31 years old. Kayne was born in San Francisco, California in 1993. Kayne loved and was proud of growing up in the city Kayne became apart of his 2nd family in 2004. He moved to Vallejo, and then relocated with his family to Saint James Missouri 2009. He attended and graduated at Saint James High School 2011. Kayne participated in all sporting events and was an asset to his teams with football, wrestling, and track & field and many other activities. He was known for dancing "Samoan Haka" before and/or after school and family festivities.
Kayne's love for life inspired him to live every day to its fullest. With his outgoing personality and his adventurous spirit, he developed many special friendships with those he met. He loved helping other people and spending time fishing, listening to music, swimming, floating, and just hanging out with friends at the river. He enjoyed drawing, art, lions, reggae, hip hop, horses, pizza, cheese burgers, french fries, wrestling and helping who ever needed help. He was a humble, loving, generous, stand up for those who couldn't for themselves. He always lit up the room with his bright smile and his laughter was contagious Kayne's car accident in 2015 brought on a 9+ year battle with TBI. Kayne fought like the champ he is, he never gave up. God spared and extended his life and Kayne's fight to be with us made a difference is so many people's lives and those who made a difference in his life; our local Family and friends, Choices for People staff, Kindred Home health and especially Columbia University's Doctors, nurses, and rehab. Kayne's life was extended and he was able to live his life to fullest, and he did. Kayne will Always be in our hearts, remembered and will be so truly missed. Cherished Brother; Step Siblings: Dominique Tagle (Soto) & Allen of California, Hector Soto Jr. & Britney of Missouri, Carlos Soto & Reyna of California.
Paternal Grandmother, Laumua Taliloa Faletogo of Tacoma, Washington; Step grandmother, Rose Armstrong of St. James, Missouri; Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Kayne is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Tafavalu Faletogo A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
