Karen Colleen Light of St. James, Missouri passed away in St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on May 25, 2009. She was 68 years, 6 months, and 12 days of age.
Karen was born on November 13, 1940 in Harvel, Missouri to her parents: Lynes Eddie and Eunice (Hurt) Dwinell.
Karen Light is survived by one son: James Light and wife JoAnn of St. James, MO.; three daughters: Barbara Pankey and husband Eugene, Sandra Parsons and husband Ronald, and Lola Juern and husband Ken all of St. James, Missouri; three brothers: Eddie Gene Dwinell, Calvin Ray Dwinell, and Lonnie Dale Dwinell all of Hillsboro, Missouri; five sisters: JenLea Stogsdill of St. Louis, Missouri, Erlene Dwinell of Hillsboro, Mo., Sharon Louise Bingaman of Pacific, Mo., Patricia Hoy of Salem, Mo. and Lola Thebeau of DeSoto, Mo.; several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Preceding Karen Light in death is her parents: Lynes Eddie and Eunice (Hurt) Dwinell; one grand-son: Josha Pankey and one infant son: Thomas Light.
Services
Visitation for Karen Light will be on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 10 AM till time of funeral at 2 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2 PM at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Reverend Mick Thrasher officiating. Pallbearers will be: John Warren, Donald Pankey, Rick Parsons, Clifford Pankey, Sergio Alba, and James Rock. Burial will be in the family plot in the Pankey Cemetery in rural St. James, Missouri.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo
