Joyce Louise Ballance of Rolla, Mo. passed away on August 9, 2019 in Columbia, Mo.  She was 81 years of age.   Joyce was born on April 24, 1938 to her parents: Floyd Anderson Payte and Pearl Anita Leake Payte.   She was united in marriage to  Ronald D. Ballance in Arvada, Colorado on February 21, 1970.

Joyce Ballance was a teacher and loved her job and the children whom she taught.

Joyce Ballance is survived by her husband Ronald D. Ballance ; son: Doug Ballance of Rolla, Mo.;  sister: Christine Korn of Colorado; nieces and nephews: Bill Korn, Cody and April Fields.

Preceding Joyce Ballance in death is her parents: Floyd Anderson and Pearl Anita Leake Payte.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10 AM at the Wishon Cemetery in rural St. James, Mo.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
