Josephine Mae Schneider passed away at the St. James Nursing Home in St. James, Missouri on Tuesday, September 5, 2006.

Josephine was born on February 21, 1919 in Rolla, Missouri to her parents: Claude and Gertrude (Perry) Woods. She was united in marriage to John Arthur Schneider on May 31, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri. To this union three children were born.

Josephine was a loving mother and wife. She was a member of the St. James Eastern Star in St. James, Missouri.

Surviving Josephine is two daughters: Mary Lou John of Arcadia, Florida and Bety Jo Mitchell of Austin, Texas; one son: Bill Schneider and wife Vana of Bridgeton, Missouri and one brother Earnest Woods of Northfield, New Jersey.

Josephine is preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Gertrude (Perry) Woods and her husband: John Arthur Schneider on April 2, 1976.

Services
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the St. James Cemetery with Brother Jerry Baumann officiating.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
