Joseph Wayne Bobbitt of St. James, Mo. passed away on March 13, 2019 at Phelps Health in Rolla, Mo.  He was 27 years, 10 months and 7 days of age.

Joseph Wayne Bobbitt was born on May 7, 1991 to his parents: Howard and Nancy Harris Bobbitt of St. James, Mo.  Joseph Bobbitt was united in marriage to Jessicia Dawn Shay  on July 15, 2018 in LaComa, Mo.

He loved his family and friends, especially.  He enjoyed nature as well as reading and playing Chess, loving to beat everyone that he played.

Joseph Bobbitt is survived by his wife of the home: Jessicia Dawn "Shay" Bobbitt of St. James, Mo.; his parents: Howard and Nancy Harris Bobbitt of St. James, Mo.; grandmother: Beverly Clouse of Seadrift, Texas; Papa Bob and Shirley Bobbitt of St. Charles, Mo.; brother: Michael Bobbitt and wife Tiela of Rolla, Mo.; sisters: Melissa Calicotte of Rolla, Mo.; Jessicia L. Bobbitt of Branson, Mo.; and Sarah Bobbitt and Devon Hicks of St. James, Mo.; nieces and nephews: Nathan, Summer, Jake, Mason, Miles, Tea, Kaylynn, Hailey, and Jay.  His beloved aunts and uncles along with other extended family members.

Visitation will held on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 1 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.  Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Edgar Springs, Mo.
