Joan Fanny Persicke of St. James, Mo. passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at her home in St. James, Mo.  She was 75 years, 9 months, adn 20 days of age.

Joan Persicke was born on March 30, 1941 to her parents: Henry and Fannie Love Streb in Granite City, Mo.  Joan Streb married Robert William Persicke on January 24, 1959 in Granite City, Illinois.

Joan Persicke was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Joan Persicke is survived by sons: William Martin Persicke, Carl Robert Persicke, Donnie  E. Persicke, Russell E. Persicke all of St. James, Mo., Willis Erik Persicke and wife Sheryl of Jefferson City, Mo.; daughter: Dee Rieken of St. James, Mo.; brothers: Jim Streb of St. James, Francis Martin Streb of Farmington, Mo.

Preceding Joan Persicke in death is her husband Robert William Persicke on September 27, 2005.

Visitation for Joan Persicke will be conducted on Saturday, January 21, 2016 from 5 - 7 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.

Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 21, 2016 at 7 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Don Carson officiating.

Memorials maybe made to the Cancer Fund.  Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
