Jessie Jewell Jackson of St. James, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in St. James, Missouri.

Jessie was born on January 27, 1923 in St. James, Missouri to her parents: Albert and Ethel Mae (Frost) Wools. She was united in marriage to Ralph Thomas Jackson on June 7, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jessie worked for Carter Carborator as a factory worker.

Jessie is survived by two brothers: Albert Wool and wife Nadine of St. James, Missouri and Ed Wools and wife Jo of St. James, Missouri; two sisters: Laura Mae Copeland of St. James, Missouri and Erma Ragsdale of Frankford, Kentucky; along with many nieces and nephews; a host of family and friends. Jessie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Jessie in death are her parents: Albert and Ethel (Frost) Wools, and one brother Earl Wools.

Services
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in the Rose Chapel at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Reverend Jeff Schanbacher officiating.

Memorials are suggested to Humane Society of St. James or Boy Town of Missouri, St. James, Missouri. Cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
