Janet (Jan) Lea Dillion, 64, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on January 23, 2023. Jan was born on December 20, 1958, to Emmett and Beda Dillon in St. James, MO. After Jan graduated from St. James High school, she went on to study Interior Design at the University of Missouri. A move to Frederick, MD in 1989 allowed Jan to establish her home and family for many years to come. Jan built a career in interior design and became well known throughout the east coast, helping families turn houses into homes with a unique eye for design aesthetics and home furnishings. In 1999 Jan followed in her family's entrepreneurial footsteps, as the co-owner of Gladhill Furniture, in Middletown, MD, for over 12 years. Away from her career, Jan will be fondly remembered for her passion in the local church community, love of gardening, hiking, and the smiles she brought to her family through the love of baking. Jan is survived by three siblings, Stanley Dillon, Debbie Bullock, and Carol Flaim; and six children, Jessi Barmoy, Andrew Tisckos, Jamie Nicholson, Ryan Nicholson, Josh Nicholson, and Sean Nicholson. In lieu of flowers Jan's family kindly welcomes friends and loved ones to make a donation to The Frederick Rescue Mission.
