James "Jim" Ruppert passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Locke and Rosie Long (Ted), and his grandsons, Clayton and John.

Jim was the loving son of Andrew V. and Ernesta (Wehking) Ruppert, who preceded him in death. He was also the brother of David (dec.) (Jean) Ruppert, Dianne (John, dec.) Seitz, Andrew O. Ruppert (dec.), Kathleen (Greg) Hayden, and Mary (dec.) (Pat) Gallagher. He was dearly loved by his many nieces and nephews and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jim served as a Private stationed in Korea along the DMZ during the Vietnam War. He loved the outdoors, was an avid arborist, and volunteered in Ukiah, California, helping veterans.

He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and love of family and nature.

The family would like to thank the loving and supportive staff at the St. James Veterans Home in St. James, MO for the care and compassion they provided.

A memorial service will be held at a time to be determined.
