Hobert Lee Breuer of St. James passed away Wednesday January 1, 2014 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. He was 76 years of age.

Hobert Breuer was born June 3, 1937 in St. James the son of the late Sherman Rhodes and Beatrice Evelyn Seaton Breuer.

On February 22, 1987 in Rolla, Hobert was united in marriage to Betty L. Rosenow.

Hobert Breuer is survived by his dear wife Betty Breuer of St. James. Sons and their wives: Brian and Karla Breuer of Kansas City, Mo., Steve and Beth Willis of St. James. Daughters: Brenda Cooper and husband Ben of Kansas City, Mo; Melony LonGoria and husband Charlie of Arkansas: Paul Laney and husband Robert of St. James; Shelia O'Brian of St. James and Lisa Stogsdill of St. James, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Hobert Breuer enjoyed a military career with the U.S. Government and loved the great outdoors. Hobert and Betty enjoyed retirement and traveled many states together.

Services
Hobert Breuer will lie in state on Friday January 3, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service with full military honors will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Don Carson Officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial may be given to the Veterans Fund at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
