Helen Copeland of St James passed away April 30th, 2020 at Phelps Health in Rolla, Mo.  She was 92 years of age.

She was born April 18, 1928 in St. James, MO, the daughter of the late Hiram and Nadine Marshall Sewell.

She was united in marriage to Cecil John "Tinker Copeland" on June 7, 1947, and they enjoyed 48 wonderful years together. To this union two children were born.

Helen is survived by son,  Allen Copeland and his wife, Mary of St. James, MO; daugher, Donna Wilson and her husband, Jay of Houston, MO; five grandchildren:  Bill, Kim, Jayson, Jeremy and Jodie, eleven great-grandchildren, other cherished family members including sister in laws:  Mary Anson of Alexandria, Virginia and Myrtle Sewell of Hamilton, IL; brother-in-law, David Copeland of Lovelady, Texas, and many dear friends.

Helen is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband; one grandson, Justin Wilson; brothers: Marshall Sewell and his wife, Martha; Raymond Sewell and his wife, Eva; Calvin, William and HIram Sewell Jr. and one sister, Laura Mabel.

Private Family visitation will be held Saturday at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO

Private Family Graveside Funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Lynn Huggins, officiating.  Hymns will be provided by the church of Christ Singers. Memorial may be given to the Oak Grove Cemterry.
