Helen L. Miller of Troy, Missouri formerly of St. James, Mo. passed away at the Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab in Troy, Missouri on Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Helen Miller was 88 years, 5 months, and 4 days of age.

Helen Miller was born on March 6, 1922 in Newburg, Missouri to her parents: Albert and Katherine (Day) Jenkins. Helen was united in marriage to William Miller on March 16, 1940 in Rolla, Missouri. To this union one daughter was born.

Helen Miller is survived by one daughter: Ellen Mae Woodson and husband Robert of Troy, Missouri; four grandchildren: Jacob Oehler, Whitney Woodson; Cody McKee; and Bobby Woodson; and two great-grandchildren: Netaeh and Lilly. Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Helen Miller in death are her parents: Albert and Katherine (Day) Jenkins; her husband: William Burton Miller on November 13, 2000; three brothers: Carl, Claude, and Hubert Jenkins; two sisters:Maxine Dejarnnett and Nora Malone.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 AM on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Jerry Baumann officiating. Pallbearers were family and friends. Burial was in the family plot at the Wishon Cemetery in rural St. James, Missouri.
