Haden Christopher Crawford of St. James, Missouri passed away at his home on Sunday, January 19, 2025 . He was 28 years of age.

Haden, the son of Chris and Cindy (Brand) Crawford, was born October 19, 1996 in Rolla, Missouri.

Haden is survived by his son, Hunter Ian Crawford of St. James, Missouri; parents, Chris and Cindy Crawford of St. James, Missouri; his sister, Gwen Crawford of Springfield, Missouri; paternal grandfather, Frank Meurer of St. James, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Richard and Judy Brand of Springfield, Missouri; many cousins and friends.

Haden is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Meurer.

Haden was a beloved father, son, brother, grandson, and friend. His adventurous spirit, his zest for life, and his infectious smile will be remembered as memories of him are shared over and over.  He cherished every moment that he spent with his son, and he was always ready to aggravate his sister, Gwen.

He loved the outdoors whether it be cruising through the back country roads on his motorcycle or fishing in the nearby creeks and ponds. Throughout the years, he and his dad looked forward to fall and the arrival of deer season. They both enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the woods as they ventured out in hopes of shooting a trophy buck.  He was an avid video gamer; he spent many hours playing Pokémon. He loved the challenge of training his characters and completing the poke Dex as well as sharing his latest conquests with his friends and family.

His legacy of love and laughter will be treasured in the hearts of all who knew him and loved him. He will be dearly missed by so many family members and so many friends that were blessed to share so many moments with him.

Visitation will be Noon-2 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Hunter Crawford College Fund at the Phelps County Bank.
