Glenda Fern Baker of St. James, Missouri passed away at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center on Saturday, April 21, 2007. She was 68 years, 1 month and 11 days of age.

Glenda was born on March 10, 1939 in Paragould, Arkansas to her parents: William and Verty (Shiefield) Hagood. Glenda was united in marriage to Clarence R. Baker and to this union four children were born.

Glenda was a telephone operator in communications for several years.

Glenda is survived by her Husband of the home: Clarence Baker of St. James, Missouri; two Sons: Clarence R. Baker III and wife Bridget of High Ridge, Missouri and Kenneth Dale Baker and wife Susan of Navarre, Florida; two Daughters: Barbara Oprean and husband David of St. James, Missouri and Christal Latricia Sheshe and husband Allen of O'Fallon, Missouri; two Brothers: Thomas Hagood of Paragould, Arkansas and Dean Hagood of Cooksville, Tennessee; one Sister: Willa Congleton of Farmington, Missouri.

Preceding Glenda in death are her parents: William and Verty (Shiefield) Hagood; two Brothers: Marion and Vervella Hagood.

Services
A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Broadway Baptist Church of Rural St. James, Missouri on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Brother Dan Bauder officiating.

Memorials are suggested to the Broadway Baptist Church.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home of St. James, Missouri.
