Glea Shoemate passed away at the Golden Living Center in St. James, Missouri on June 18, 2007. She was 96 years, 1 month, and 25 days of age.

Glea was born on April 25, 1911 to her parents Everett and Stella (Wals) Madden. Glea was united in marriage to Elvie Otto Shoemate. To this union one child was born. Elvie entered into rest on July 30, 1976.

Survivors are daughter: June Lorts of Jefferson City, Missouri; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Preceding Glea in death are her parents: Everett and Stella (Wals) Madden; her husband: Elvie Otto Shoemate; one brother William Madden and one sister: Cletta Burton.

Services
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 AM on Thursday, at the St. James Cemetery in St. James, Missouri with Reverend Mick Thrasher officiating.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
