Geraldine L. Zita of St. James, passed away Sunday June 23, 2019 at the Rolla Health and Rehabilitation. She was 91 years of age.

Geraldine Zita was born August 29, 1927 in Rolla, the daughter of the late William Warren and Goldie Silver Kinnard Bartle.

She was united in marriage to Stanley Zita. He enetered into rest January 3, 2010.

Geraldine L. Zita  is survived by one son: William Suha of Jew Jersey; Daughters: Joanne Featherstone of Springfield, Mo., and Barbara Mitchell of Salisbury, Maryland. Sisters: Norma Leonard of Rolla, and Dorothy Rodgers of St. James, along with many grandchildren including grandchild Renee Ramsey, nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother; Harry Bartle, Sisters: Maxine Hukilla, Billie Wadell, Janice Bunch and Margaret Ann Clarke.

Mrs. Zita will lie in state at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday June 26, 2019 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 26, 2019 at the Jones Funeral Home with Brother Don Carson officiating. Linda Spurgeon will sing and play for the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will be in the family plot at the Rolla Cemetery.
