George Smith of St. James passed away Sunday October 3, 2010 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo. He was 78 years of age.

George Smith is survived by his wife: Joyce Sewell Smith of St. James.; Sons: Michael Smith of Russellville, Mo and Steven Smith of St. James. Brother: Leroy Smith and wife Donna of St. James., Sisters: Ella Mae Cowan of St. James amd Mildred Brown of Rolla. Along with 6 grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Services
George Smith will lie in state Monday October 4, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Graveside Funeral for George Smith will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 5, 2010 at the St. James Cemetery.

Memorial may be given to the Little Prairie Bible Camp, cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
