Obituary

Gene Arthur Hadley of St. James passed away Thursday February 9, 2012 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. He was 57 years 4 months and 21 days of age.

Gene Hadley was born September 19, 1954 in Steelville, Mo., the son of Charles and Evelyn (Bell) Hadley.

He was united in marriage to Barbara (Bobbie) Jo Picker Hadley on February 14, 1987 in Rolla.

Survivors include his parents Charles and Evelyn Hadley of St. James, his dear wife Barbara (Bobbie) Jo Hadley of St. James; Sons: Nathaniel Hadley and wife Michelle of Rolla, Brian Hadley and wife Sarah of St. Louis. Brothers: Wilford Hadley of St. James, Ray and wife Gloria Hadley of Wright City, Gary and wife Norma Hadley of O'Fallon, Dennis Hadley of Rolla, Larry and wife Doris Hadley of California and John Hadley of St. James. Sisters: Charlotte and husband Jerry Knowles of Rolla, Susie and husband Ed Savage of Rolla, Debbie and husband Roger Thompson of Connecticut, Tammy and husband Doyle Wools of St. James Lisa and husband Doug Sherfy of St. James, Angie and husband Jeff Kolpencach of Wright City, Sherri and husband Roy King of St. James. Along with one grandson Tyler Schuchmann of St. James. Mother-In-Law: Edna Picker, Rolla, Sister-In-Law: Linda Lloyd of St. James and Patty and husband Larry Gorman of Ozark, Mo; Brother-In-Law: Stanley Picker of St. James.

Gene is preceaded in death by one son: Bobby (Charlie) Hadley who passed away May 26, 2005 and Brother William (Billy) A. Hadley who passed away April 27, 2009. Step-Daughter Dawn Renee Schnuchmann who passed away June 23, 2003, Sister-In-Law Debbie Sieber who passed away August 10, 2006.

Services
Gene Hadley will lie in state from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Monday February 13, 2012 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday February 13, 2012 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Gene Branson Officiating. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Schuchmann, Stanley Picker, Brian Hadley, Tyler Schuchmann, Billy Lloyd and Doug Sherfy. Burial with full military honors will be at the St. James Cemetery.

Arrangments are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.
