Obituary

Frank Lewis of St. James passed away Sunday February 18, 2007 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla. He was 76 Years 5 months and 19 days of age.

Frank was born August 30, 1930 in St James the son of the late Raymond and Elsie Asher Lewis.

Frank was united in marriage to Debra Faye Mc Pherson on December 31. 1979, at Steelville, Mo.

Frank Lewis is survived by his wife: Debra Lewis of St. James,
Sons: Frank Lewis Jr and wife Joann of Jefferson City, Mo., Mark
David Lewis of Rutherford, TN;, Daughters: Kimberly Nixon and
husband Greg of Osceola, Iowa, Sherly Pitts and husband Jerry
of St. James, Kathleen Siwek and Husband Adam of St. James ,
Melinda Lewis and husband Robert of St. James, Laura Parlow
and husband Jackie of Rutherford, TN and Rachael Gilliam and
husband Charles of Steelville. Brother: Gene Lewis of St, James
Along with 16 grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.

Frank worked at Brown Shoe Co for over 20 years and worked at Arneson Timber for 10 years until he retired.

Frank was a avid Outdoorsman, he loved fishing and hunting. His passion in life was hunting, fishing and bowling. He loved spending time with his children, talking about and remembering when they were younger. A house full of grandhcildren and great-grandchildren made him the happiest. They were the joy of his life.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in St. James, a member of the bowling association and was a memeber of many bowling leagues, and had recieved many patches and awards for the perfect score.

He was outgoing, loving, and had never met a stranger. Frank was never afraid to give his advise or thoughts in any conversation.

Frank served in the Korean War from 1949 in which he was honorably discharged in 1954.

Services
Franks Lewis was in state from 6-8 pm Monday February 19, 2006 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Service were conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 20, 2007 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James with Brother Jerry Bauman officiating. Music was provided by Jennette Ashley and Steven Brubaker. Pallbears were Matt Lewis, Ray Gilliam, Bill Lawless, Andrew Lewis, Shawn Munton and Troy Richardson. Burial with Full Mitilitary Honors will be at the family plot at the St. James Cemetery.

Memorial may be given to the Lewis Family, cards are available at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. Jame
