Frank Southard of Rolla, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Boone

County Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was 65 years of age.

Frank, the son of the late Mary Lou (Happle) Martin and Novel Cleveland Whittaker, was

born on September 18, 1959 in Rolla, Missouri.

Frank is survived by children, Courtney Southard of Waynesville, Missouri and Cody

Jackson of Republic, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Ali Southard of El Dorado, Kansas;

brothers, Dale Southard and wife, Julie of Rolla, Missouri and Steve Whittaker; sister,

Ruthie Whittaker; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; son, Jeremy Southard; sister, Rita Persicke;

and his parents.

Frank was a dear father, brother, and friend. He loved spending time with his family; he

loved gathering around the grill and perfecting his recipes for pork chops and steaks. He

enjoyed drawing and building model cars. He worked for Coca-Cola as a service technician

for over 20 years; he was greatly appreciated for his reliability and his friendliness.

His kind, fun-loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Frank's life will be held for friends and family at The Rolla Apartments

where he lived for several years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Frank's honor to a charity of

their choice.
