Fanny Maxine Stearns, 57 of St. James, Mo. passed away at her home on April 3, 2014.

Fanny Stearns was born on December 15, 1956 in St. Joseph, Mo. to her parents Elmer and Kathleen Stevens Winn. Fanny Winn was united in marriage to Gary Stearns on January 4, 1978 in St. Louis County.

Fanny Stearns was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Fanny Stearns is survived by her husband of the home: Gary Stearns of St. James, Mo;
one son: Elliott Stearns of Farmington, Mo.; three daughters: Lola Stearns and Ingrid Stearns of St. James, Mo. and Holy Krewinghaus and husband Chaz of St. James, Mo.; two brothers: Freddy Winn of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Bert Winn of Warrenton, Mo.; two sisters: Colleen Moreland of Cuba, Mo. and Laurie Miller of Warrenton, Mo.; three grandchildren: Sidney Kouzebwski; Ivy Stearns, and Elliott Stearns and a host of friends. Fanny Stearns will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Fanny Stearns in death is her parents: Elmer and Kathleen Stevens Winn.

Services
Fanny Stearns will lie in state Monday April 7, 2014 starting at 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at 2:00 p.m. Fanny's husband Gary Stearns will speak at the service. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
