Everett Isaac Hatcher of St. James, Mo. passed away on December 27, 2016. He was 97 years, 2 months and 22 days of age.
Everett Hatcher was born on October 5, 1919 to his parents: James Franklin and Nora J. McWhorter Hatcher in Lake Springs, Mo. He was united in marriage to Lola Mae Quinley on December 12, 1939 in Eminance, Mo.
Everett worked for Floyd and Emmett Dillon doing excavation for many years. He then owned his own trucking business Hatcher Trucking. Everett will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Everett Hatcher is survived by his wife of the home: Lola Mae Hatcher of St. James, one son: Brad Hatcher and wife Tina of York, Pennsylvia; one daughter: Nelda Carwile of St. James, Mo.; along with eight grandchildren; twenty-two great - grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren. Along with other relatives and a host of friends.
Preceding Everett Hatcher in death is his parents: James Franklin and Nora J. McWhorter Hatcher; son: Denny Hatcher; and a stillborn son: James Everett Hatcher; four brothers: James Alanzo, Raymond, Kennard, and Delmar Hatcher; four sisters: Elizabeth Clay, Ruth Hatcher, Agnes Talbee, and Mattie Hatcher.
Visitation for Everett Hatcher will be on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 4 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
Services will be conducted on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2 PM at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo. with Stephen Brubaker officiating. Music will be Go Rest High On That Mountain and Code Blue.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
