Everett E. (Gene) Parrish passed away at his home in St. James, Missouri on December 14, 2008. He was 76 years and 2 months of age.

Everett E. (Gene) Parrish was born on October 14, 1932 to his parents: Robert Everett and Mary Gladys (Pierce) Parrish. Everett was known to his family and friends as Gene.

Gene is survived by his wife of the home: Shirley Mae Parrish of St. James, Missouri; two daughters: Brenda Meziere and husband David of Florida,; and Rita Parrish of St. James, Missouri; three sisters: Loraine Gnemi; Helen Harris and Dorothy Benson all of St. James, Missouri; grandaughter: Cindy Earle and husband Danny; great grandson: Jonathon Earle and extended family and many friends. Gene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding Gene in death is his parents: Robert Everett and Mary Gladys (Pierce) Parrish; and one brother: William Charles Parrish.

Services
Visitation for Gene will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Brother Mick Thrasher officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in the Broadway Memorial Cemetery in rural St. James, Missouri.

Memorial may be given to the First Assembly of God Church in St. James, Missouri.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
