Eunice Irene Roark of St. James passed away Friday October 22, 2010 at the Helia Health Care in Rolla, M0. She was 88 years 8 months and 21 days of age.

Eunice Roark was born February 1, 1922 in St. James the daughter of the late Arthur Iassic and Ida May (Carroll) Bunton.

She is preceded in death by two husbands Walter H. Thomas and Jack Charles Roark; three sons: James F. and William C. Thomas and Vernon R. Roark; one daughter: Irene Cavanaugh and there sisters: Ilene Bunton; Cora Bunton; and Dora Weir; and 2 infant brothers.

She is survived by sons: Walter "Bud" Thomas and wife Diane of Ozark, Alabama; Henry Roark of St. James; Daughters: Myrna Byrd and husband Bill of St. James; Janice White and husband Don of St. James; Reta White and husband Ronald of St. James, along with 19 Grandchildren; 16 Great-grandchildren, 1 Great- great grandchild; Daughter-In-Law: Mary Thomas of Blanko, Texas.

Memorials may be given to the Adams Cemetery.

Visitation for Eunice Roark was on Monday October 25, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Funeral Services were conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 26, 2010 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James. Burial was in the family plot in the Adams Cemetery with Mick Thrasher officiating. Pallbearers were: Robert Cavanaugh; Shawn White; Ronnie White; Dwayne Barton; William T. Byrd and Mitch Ham.
