Emma Otto formerly of St. James, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at the Hermann District Area Hospital in Hermann, Missouri. Emma was 89 years, 10 months, and 9 days of age.

Emma Otto was born on April 22,1920 in Royalton, Illinois, to her parents: Gustaff and Claria (Ruhl) Gabriel. She was united in marriage to Karl Otto in St. Louis, Missouri on August 28, 1958.

Emma Otto served in the Navy during WWII. She was a homemaker.

Emma Otto is survived by one daughter: Phyllis Boughan of Florrisant, Missouri and one son Willis Hougland of St. Charles, Missouri.

Preceding Emma in death are her parents: Gustaff and Claria (Ruhl) Gabriel; her husband: Karl Otto on November 7, 1991; and one grandson: Michael.

Memorials may be made to Missouri Veteran's Home in St. James, Missouri.

Services
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 6, 2010 one hour before funeral at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Lynn Huggins officiating. Songs will be: In The Garden and Near My God To Thee.

Scattering of the ashes will be on the family farm.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
