Edward C. Williams passed away on June 21, 2016 at his home with his wife and family beside him. Edward was born on July 26, 1947 in Rolla, Mo to Fred and Emily Isabelle Elms Williams.  He was united in marriage to Teresa June Parsons in St. James on October 4, 2003.

Mr. Williams served in the United States Army, after returning from military service he found he enjoyed working as a carpenter, electrician and plumber. He enjoyed spending time with his family and beloved dogs Patches and Zoe.  He liked hunting, fishing and being on the river.  Edward was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Edward C. Williams is survived by his wife of the home: Teresa Williams of St. James, daughters: Rachel Day and husband John of Robins Air Force Base, Georgia;  Amy Loental of Chillicothe, Illinois; and Sheliah Kahl and husband Richard of Rolla; grandchildren: Brittany, Billy, Kaylea, Alex, Abigail, Grace, Cory, Kyle, Stevie, and great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Evan, William, Olivia, Aubri, Ryder, and Baby Russ; Step Children: Brian Carroll and Jason Carroll of Rolla; Melissa Pointer and Troy Watkins of St. James; Jennifer Trenthan and husband Matt of Arnold; Tracey Earls, of Florida; step-granchildren: Chance; Jillian, Allissa, Dominick, Tyler, Mariah, Ashton, Arianna, Haley, Justus, Taneya, Trinity, Layla, Landon, Jaxson,  and Eathan; brothers: Mark Williams and David Williams both of Rolla; sister: Joyce Cheek of Springfield, Mo.

Preceding Edward C. Williams in death is his parents: Fred and Emily Isabelle (Elms) Williams; three brothers: Freddie, Bobby, and Gary Williams; four sisters: Mildred Gore; Jean Adam; Lina Glenn and Judy K. Watkins.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at 2:30 PM at the Burton Cemetery in Rolla, Mo. with full military honors.

All arrangements are under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Mo.
