Dorothy Marie Neas of Annandale, Virginia, passed away on November 17th, 2014. Born in Vichy, Missouri, on March 11th, 1939 to Elmer Franklin and Hallie Euline Isgrigg Van Kirk, Dorothy was the beloved wife of 35 years of Charles (Chuck) Edwin Neas.

Dorothy worked as a cook in the school cafeteria of New Life Assembly of God in Wrightstown, NJ, and in schools in the Rolla, MO school district. She was an animal lover, supporting local animal shelters, and often took in self-rescued animals. She cherished her service to the Lord serving as a Sunday school teacher, Christian women's group president, and faithful member of New Life Assembly and Calvary Assembly of God of Rolla. Most of all, she treasured her role as a loving Christian mother and wife.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Neas, parents Elmer and Hallie Van Kirk, her foster parents Charlie and Daisy Johnson of Rolla, MO, an infant twin son Danny, and her brother Tom Van Kirk and sister Mary Louis Van Kirk Draper.

She leaves behind a daughter and three sons; Teresa Neas Gay of Annandale, VA, Randy Johnson of St. James, MO, Darryl Neas of Bordentown, NJ, and Michael Neas of Barrington, NJ. She was the loving sister of Olin M. Ihler of Rolla, MO, Mary Louise Van Kirk Draper of St. Charles, MO, Thomas Leroy Van Kirk of West Columbia, TX, and Edna Mae Van Kirk Lewis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, including Allison and Robert Gay, Sam, Danny, David, and Rachel Neas, Brandon and Matthew Johnson, and Angelica Stowe.

Services
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 24th, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, MO, 65401. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014 at 10:00 AM, at Jones Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ozark Hills Cemetery, Rolla, MO. Pallbearers will be Robert Gay, David and Danny Neas, and Brandon and Matthew Johnson.
