Donna Harper, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, leaving a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Erice Turnbough, and her two children, Jimmy Chambers and Victoria, and son-in-law, Tommy Slovensky. Donna was also preceded in death by a great-grandchild, who she held dear in her heart.

Donna's life was filled with an abundance of love for her family and her faith. She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Harper, with whom she shared beautiful years of marriage. She is also survived by her children: Margie Tessaro (husband Jeff Tessaro) of St. James, MO; Mindy Bassett (husband Kent Bassett) of Dixon, MO; and Corinne Chambers of Steelville, MO. Donna also leaves behind her many bonus children: Regina Slovensky of Potosi, MO; Stephen Harper of Granite City, IL; Mike (Miranda) Davis of Steelville, MO; Becky (Chad) Barton of Steelville, MO; Erin (Robert) Harmon of Steelville, MO; Randy (Sherry) Turnbough; Rick Turnbough; Connie (Jerry) Sommers, Covonley( Sherman) Dearduff; and Tim (Sherry) Turnbough.

Donna was the proud grandmother of 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, each of whom she adored and showered with love. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

A woman of deep faith, Donna was an active and passionate member of her church community. She loved gospel singing and found great joy in socializing with friends and family, always eager to share a kind word or a warm hug. Donna's kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her life was a testament to the power of family, faith, and love. Donna will be deeply missed by her family, her church, and all who were fortunate enough to call her a friend.

Visitation will be 9:30 AM Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.

Funeral services celebrating Donna's life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home , with interment to follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Birkner, Jacob Jones, Aaron Birkner, Joshua Jones, Kris Chambers, and Mason Birkner. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Mangrum, Jackson Birkner, Logan Birkner, and Landon Birkner.

Donna's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and touch the lives of those who knew her. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love of her Lord and Savior.
